WINTER TRAINING 2018 - NEW PLAYERS WELCOME

Winter training starts this Saturday, 13th Jan, from 10am to 12 noon.

Like last year we start at St Ambrose school in Hale Barns for seven weeks before switching to Old Trafford Indoor Centre as we get closer to the season.  These sessions are open to all players (16 years and older) and we particularly welcome new players to these sessions.  Sessions will be run by Joe FW and/or Richard F and the initial focus will be on fitness before getting skill specific once the winter cobwebs have been blown away.

Sessions cost £4 (£2 for players in full-time education), you can pay in advance or week by week.

Please note, the car park entrance may not be open, to access the gym you may have to enter by the main pitch entrance on the other side of the school.

CHESHIRE CLUB OF THE YEAR!

At the recent Cheshire Cricket League annual dinner and awards night, HBCC received the prestigious Club of the Year award!  Ben Hicks also received an award for the best bowling figures - 9/19 vs Barnton CC.  Coming as a complete surprise, these awards capped an incredible season for the club which has seen the First XI promoted to the County League and the Second XI reaching the T/20 cup final.

It's not just the playing side of the club that has been recognised, Ian Schora and his team of helpers received plaudits for the improvement in the club's playing facilities - 4th for the square and 11th for the outfiled across the 58 Cheshire League clubs.  We've also staged a number of great social events to mark the club's 70th birthday.  2017 has been a great year at Brooks Drive.
